Garland Wright

Garland Wright was one of the most important, but least well known directors of the contemporary American theater. Using interviews, internal documents, and his own words, this project provides a “backstage” look at the experimental tactics Wright used in directorial and acting processes and how his background in painting made him one of the most visually-gifted directors of his time.
